PTO Meeting
The next PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m.  Please plan on
attending.  There will be a special vote to determine how to spend all the money raised
by the PTO in the past year.  New Board Members will also be voted in for the 2010-
2011 school year.  Please come and cast your vote! Babysitting is available free of
charge.

Square One Art
A huge thank you to Mrs. Brockett and Suzy McIntyre for all of their hard
work and fabulous creativity in helping the students with their beautiful
art work for this program.  It is greatly appreciated.

Campbell’s Soup Labels
Please continue to save and send in your Campbell’s Labels.  Thanks!

Talent Show
Come to the 80’s themed talent show on Friday, April 30th.  The show will take place at
7:00 p.m at the Jane Tasch Theater.  All free will donations will be placed in a special
fund to purchase equipment for our students with special needs.

Walk/Bike to School
Our next Walk/Ride to school day is Thursday, May 6th.  Please remember to
send in your child’s permission slip for participation in this fun event!   

Run for Recess
On May 23rd we are holding our first annual fun run and 5k Race. This is an event for
kids and adults of all ages.  All proceeds from this great event will help to fund new
playground equipment for our Country kids.  More information will be coming home
soon!

4th Grade Recognition
Country Elementary 4th Grade Recognition will be held on Friday, June 4th.  More
information will be coming home soon.

Field Day – June 8th
Field day will once again be an all day event!  We are looking forward to a super time!  
We are always in need of volunteers for this fun-filled day!  More information will be
coming home soon.   

Mother – Son Celebration
The Mother-Son Event will be held at Whitmore Lake Bowling Alley on May 22nd.
